Class includes approximately 50-60 minutes of Ananda Yoga, followed by yoga nidra.  

After releasing tension from the body and mind through gentle Ananda Yoga, lie down with any props desired to maximize your comfort. Then simply listen as the instructor guides you through the experience of yoga nidra. 

Yoga nidra is a systematic method of creating complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. During the practice, one appears to be asleep, but the consciousness is functioning at a deep level of awareness. When poised between the sleeping and wakeful states, contact with the subconscious and unconscious dimensions occurs spontaneously. By turning inwards, away from outer experiences, the consciousness becomes very powerful and can be applied in many ways, for the practitioner’s transformation physically, mentally and emotionally. All are welcome to experience this deeply relaxing, powerful practice of yoga nidra.
